DAYS OF DIOCLETIAN – Dioklecijanovi dani
July 25, 2011
Diocletian’s palace is a memento of the magnificent history of Split, and we all know it, but the citizens of Split wish to emphasize the significance of the 1700 years of their lovely city in a still more symbolic manner – hence this manifestation. For ten days the city takes a journey into the Antiquity. The streets of the former palace are filled with strollers dressed in togas and tunics, the waterfront provides the venue for the procession of ancient-style carriages ferrying Emperor Diocletian and his suite to the Peristyle where His Imperial Eminence addresses his subjects – just as he used to so many centuries ago.
The narrow streets are filled with mouth-watering aromas of the Mediterranean dishes – and for a moment it seems as if one has never stepped into the 21st century.
Wa are waiting for you, for this experience. August is coming soon !!!

Split summer festival-Splitsko ljeto
July 22, 2010
July 14 – August 15, 2010
![]()
Split Summer (1954 – 2010) is an artistic festival that builds its national and international reputation since the second half of the 20th century. Along with the Dubrovnik summer games, it is a festival with the longest and most splendid tradition of the classical spectrum of scene arts (opera, drama, ballet, concert…), widening the fan of events with time: from jazz concerts and movie revues to exhibitions, performances and street theatre. The most persistent and strongest organization bearer of the festival is HNK Split, a national theatre that represents the unavoidable and key spot in the culture life of Split, as well as one of the most vital spots in the theatre life of entire Croatia.
- 200 g cipolla tritata grossolanamente
- 1 cucchiaio da tavola di paprika dolce
- sale q.b.
…Dobar tek, buon pranzo !!!
